ITOTSUZURI "SASHIKO BOOK vol.01"

The first concept book of ITOTSUZURI "SASHIKO BOOK vol.01" has been launched on November 2021.

Sashiko is the technique of regenerating as a single piece of cloth by stacking rags, compressing and flattening the cloth while sewing. In addition to the regeneration of rags, in a difficult life, they entrusted their wishes to threads and patterns and various pattern were designed in northern part of Japan.

ITOTSUZURI philosophy of "Seeking cultural background and aesthetics" and adapt to a new lifestyle, even as times change, Itotsuzuri's goal remains unchanged, to be that can further contribute to society by continuing sashiko work to help each and every one of its people find their own life.
